SlipTrap Theatre exists to create spaces where human presence still matters.
We make live work to elusively subvert systems that profit from distraction, acceleration and flattening, systems that train us to consume experience rather than encounter it, that turn attention into a commodity and feeling into noise.
We explore these stories through a surrealist lens. By distorting reality, we reveal it more clearly. We bend the familiar until its patterns show. We make the ordinary strange so that what has been normalized can be felt again.
